Poker.com (PDC Poker) Rooms Full Review
Poker.com is a very serious attempt to launch a new and
independent poker room. The domain itself almost guarantees
success and the poker room has already taken off nicely.
Poker.com is still regarded as a newcomer to the poker
industry but has established a great reputation during their
first year online. Poker.com is already a popular place for
low no limit ring games and with time they will surely build
a much larger poker room. Besides pretty low user traffic,
this room earns a degree of excellence for its superb
software. The software is nice but a few things need
improvements and development is still going on.
They are continually improving the software and adding new
features, and it is now on par with anything in the market.
Poker.com has a lot of different features available, their
software is under constant development and if you desire
additional features writes them an e-mail they actually read
them and implement some of the suggestions. Poker.com hosts
excellent freeroll tournaments and is recognized as one of
the most ambitious at this area, and they also have a
loyalty program and great bonuses for new and regular
players.
Blackjack is available but currently only for play money
they may implement more games when more players start to
frequent their site. The only issue that stops Poker.com
from scoring a jackpot review is its graphics interface.
There is a plethora of useful options, such as the ability
of removing play money games. The software is unique to
Poker.com and under constant development. There is lobby
music added to the simple layout. The graphical design is
nice; it offers something new to the online poker industry
some will like it others not with any graphical design it is
a matter of subjective opinion. The table is one of the most
prominent features. It's almost like MSN Messenger crossed
with a poker client.
It looks fairly good and the functionality is excellent.
Poker.com offers hand histories, win statistics, note taking
and graphical tagging of opponents. There is a large amount
of statistics and a very functional buddy list, as well as
player notes where you can set your opponents' type of play
style. As a new and small poker room the online
professionals have yet to discover the new feeding ground.
Many new players just type in poker.com in their browser and
start to play at Poker.com. The best feature is being able
to expose only one card at showdown just like on TV.
New players often process no poker skills whatsoever and
frequenting the Poker.com tables can be quite profitable.
Poker.com offers Texas Hold'em and Omaha only, split into
scheduled games, sit 'N' goes, satellites to bigger events
as well as private games. Poker.com has a ‘comp points’
system where you accumulate points by playing ring games and
online poker tournaments. The points can be converted into
Poker.com merchandise and tournament coupons. |
